Who we are
VenueScout is operated as a joint venture of Crowlective Studio Limited and Conferencing In A Box, Nairobi, Kenya. Registered company: [Company registration number — to be confirmed]. Registered address: Le'Mac, Church Road (off Waiyaki Way), Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. Contact: [Legal contact e-mail — to be confirmed].
What VenueScout does
VenueScout is a marketplace where organisers find venues and vendors, send requests for proposals, receive quotes and book. We are an intermediary: the contract for a venue or a service is between the organiser and the venue or vendor. Listings are provided by the venues and vendors themselves; we verify ownership and business details as described on the site, but we do not guarantee any listing.
Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password secret.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, the review policy or the law.
Bookings, quotes and fees
A booking is confirmed when an organiser accepts a quote and the venue or vendor is notified in VenueScout. Fees charged by VenueScout are shown on the pricing page and at the point you pay; they are the figures in force on that day. Payment and refund rules are in the refund policy.
Reviews
Only organisers with a confirmed VenueScout booking can review a venue. Reviews follow the review policy.
Acceptable use
Do not post unlawful, misleading or abusive content, scrape the site, interfere with its operation, or use it to harass anyone.

We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the acts of venues, vendors or organisers, or for indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law. [Limitation of liability wording — for counsel]
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will show the version and date on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya and the courts of Nairobi. [Dispute resolution clause — for counsel]
